I found them just as annoying as many of you, and while they brought in good ad revenue for the site, I refuse to put money on the quality of the experience here. So thank you for your patience while we work to remove them.

Now we have also updated our List of 4K Ultra HD releases here on the site today, to add the new Crazy (1981) and Dracula sucks (1978) in UHD from our friends at Vinegar Syndrome. Both are now available directly from their site here.

In today’s announcement, The Warner Archive Collection has just revealed a pair of great Blu-ray titles from the Kevin Costner catalog that will arrive on 4/12—fandango (1985) and American flyers (1985). Each will offer new 2022 HD masters and they will be released on BD50 discs to give picture quality plenty of room to breathe.

Additionally, Paramount announced the 3/15 release of Shooter in a new 4K Limited Edition Steelbook, released in honor of the film’s 15th anniversary. You can see the cover below.

The MVD Rewind Collection has just unveiled its next two titles, including vampire kiss (1988) and Monday morning (1990), which will be released on Blu-ray on 6/21.

Mill Creek Entertainment changed the street date to Superior 8 Ultra Brothers and Ultraseven X: the complete series on Blu-ray at 4/5. Adjust your plans accordingly.

Blood Sweat & Chrome (Book)Finally today, I wanted to draw your attention to a new book that has just been released: Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road by Kyle Buchanan.

Buchanan is a pop culture journalist for The New York Times and what he did was conduct and compile hundreds of exclusive cast and crew interviews to create an in-depth oral history of the making of the film.

The book received very good reviews. You can see the cover illustration on the right (click the image to visit the Amazon pre-order page). I ordered a copy myself and thought some of you might also be interested. So shiny and chrome!

Alright, we’ll let you take a look at the cover art for a few of the titles mentioned above and more.

Amazon.com pre-order links for most of them are live now and others will be added as they appear…

American Flyers (Blu-ray Disc) Fandango (Blu-ray Disc) A Vampire's Kiss (Blu-ray Disc)

Shooter (Steelbook 4K Ultra HD) The Godfather Trilogy (4K Ultra HD) Monday Morning (Blu-ray Disc)
