The trailer begins with Henry declaring in voiceover, “Time travel,” as his younger self disappears into bed and reappears as an adult.

“It’s not a superpower. It’s a handicap.

The trailer picks up with a young adult Henry meeting Clare, who is amazed to see him as shots of Henry at different ages play by.

“Henry,” she said in amazement, although Henry said, “Sorry, I don’t know-” as she said her name was Clare.

“So we met then,” an embarrassed Henry asks, as Clare says, “Yeah,” as more snaps from their past flash by.

Clare walks into her kitchen where she finds an overflowing sink and a pile of clothes on the floor.

“We just met,” Clare says as they meet outside, as she finishes, “in the wrong order.”

Henry is seen standing in front of Clare with a bouquet of flowers, asking if she has any hobbies, as Clare calmly says, “I’m your future wife.”

They are seen kissing passionately as Henry arrives naked again at his flat as the eldest Henry says to the camera, “There are three things I got good at to survive.”

Another shot shows him transporting naked straight onto a train track with a train coming towards him and another showing him transporting himself in the middle of a shootout.

He says the three things are “run, fight and fly”, as we see brief shots of him doing all three.

Clare says in an almost realistic confessional that “Danger isn’t the worst”, as Henry admits, “Christmas is the worst”.

There’s a shot of a very young Henry looking back at a car accident and looking traumatized, while an adult Henry looks back on that same accident and sees his past watching from afar.

“There are days when it keeps coming back,” Clare says, as Henry admits, “I can’t control it.” I hate being where she isn’t,” as he saw her hugging her.

He says he’s still going and she can’t keep up, as a frustrated Clare walks into the street and says, “I’m the one changing the future.”

An annoyed Henry tells him, “I tried to change him. You can’t,” as the trailer shows another photo of the car accident and a young Henry running towards his mother.

Clare says, “I love Henry more than I could love anyone else”, as another man asks, “So where is he?”

The trailer ends with a number of overly dramatic shots of Henry and Clare kissing.

Henry tells Clare he thinks he’s leaving and Clare says “No, not now”, but he just says “I love you” and disappears.

‘Why is love intensified by absence?’ Clare asks as the trailer is coming to an end.
