The Novel Jazz events at Skidompha began with the realization that book lovers are often jazz lovers. The superb acoustics of Skidompha’s atrium, along with the “in-the-round” seating, make it a superior place to see and hear jazz, all in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. It was while performing at Skidompha around 18 years ago that the band began focusing on jazz giants Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, and just before the pandemic they released their fourth CD on these two icons. jazz.

Admission to this event is free.
