“It looks like a horrible novel”

Jamie Lynn Spears rose to fame in the 2000s as the main character in the popular Nickelodeon Pin up Zoe 101.

In his new book, Things I should have said, Spears opened up about her experience as a teenage actor on the show, and she also made statements about the bullying she experienced on set. However, one of her former co-stars, Alexa Nikolas (Nicole Bristow), laughed off a claim from Spears.

Jamie Lynn Spears argues with Alexa Nikolas

Nikolas was on view for its first two seasons. She and Spears played best friends, but after Nikolas left the show in 2006, there were rumors that she didn’t have a good relationship with Spears.

In 2019, Nikolas confirmed these rumors. During instagram live, she detailed the alleged abuse she suffered on the set of Zoe 101 and accused the other cast members, such as Spears, of bullying her. Nikolas also said that Spears’ older sister, Britney Spears, came to bed one day and yelled at her.

However, Spears claimed in her new book that the opposite situation had occurred. According to Spears, Nikolas spread “sinister” rumors about her on set. Spears also said that her sister visited the set to have a chat with Nikolas, which ended the gossip, especially since Nikolas left the show afterwards.

After the book’s release, Nikolas began to instagram to deny these allegations. Nikolas accused Spears of “lying” and playing “the victim/gaslighting card.” She also said, “Nothing she said in the book about me actually happened.”

Nikolas also opened up more about the claims in Spears’ book during an interview with YouTube Channel SL04N. In one part of the chat, Nikolas discussed Spears’ claim in her book that Nikolas spread rumors that Spears had lice and smelled bad.

“First of all, no lice,” Nikolas said with a laugh. “No one has had lice. I don’t even think I’ve ever had head lice. But no, there were no lice. I never heard this rumor. I have no idea – it’s almost like an older person trying to write about teen drama and thinking, ‘What are teens talking about? Lice and bad smell.

Nikolas continued to laugh and commented that the story “sounded like a horrible novel”.

According to Nikolas, Spears reached out to her after Nikolas initially spoke out about the alleged bullying in 2019. The couple reportedly managed to put the past behind them, and Nikolas said she forgave Spears.

However, following the publication of Things I should have said, Nikolas reportedly attempted to speak to Spears about the book’s claims, but was blocked.

“I texted him,” Nikolas told SL04N. “I was upset, so I texted him and said, ‘You’re an impostor. “”

When asked if Spears had responded, Nikolas shared, “No, she blocked me…I went to send her something else and couldn’t send it.”

Spears hasn’t commented on these new Nikolas allegations, but she did “like” Nikolas’ Instagram post.
