Amazon unveiled its best-selling and most-read fiction and non-fiction books of 2021

The retailer has gathered a number of different categories that cover fiction, non-fiction, Kindle downloads, and Audible audiobooks.

If you’re looking for tips on what to read, you’ll find an eclectic mix of headlines in Amazon’s charts – it has everything from thrillers and cookbooks to self-help.

More and more people are consuming their books in audio format as well, thanks to Amazon’s Audible subscription service – you can always try the one-month free trial to see if it works for you.

And if you’re an avowed bookworm, you might want to check out Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited subscription, which lets you “borrow” rather than purchase a number of eBooks on a monthly basis.

There’s a mix of new releases and old favorites in Amazon’s list of top-selling dramas for 2021.

Although it was released in 2020, it is Matt Haig’s. The midnight library who takes the first place, while the number one of last year, Where the crayfish sing by Delia Owens, falls to number three.

Meanwhile, JK Rowling is eternally popular Harry potter series is in second place while Beautiful people, where are you, Sally Rooney’s sequel to the hugely popular Normal people, is in tenth place.
